Actor-singer Philip Chaffin retraces his roots in story and song: from growing up in Louisiana and Mississippi, dreaming of a life in "show business"; to touring internationally as a big-band singer; to acting opportunities and adventures in Los Angeles, on Broadway, and at the Royal National Theatre in London. It's a retrospective of a quarter century spent treading the boards, but one never far removed from his Southern roots.
